The Hamburg based soccer club HSV commissioned MUTABOR Design Hamburg to do the new branding of the traditional sports club. After a long way finding journey we decide to create a corporate basis traditional, fitted the mostly used alias „Nur der HSV“, combined with saisonal changing campains. I gently optimized the logo design of the traditional club signature, the diamond and redefined the brand type system used. I designed and partly art directed the branding design of the Hamburger soccer club, including stationary design, stadion branding, packaging design, editorial design, on air appearances, radio advertising, intérieur design and conceptional merchandise. To complete the rebranding of the well known soccer club we redesigned the website and online appearences as well as the social media marketing design to catch the fans online. To introduce the new brand identity we designed a advertising campaign throu Hamburg over the whole soccer season. The mostly tricky part was to transfer the new coporate design definition into a working design manual usable for all contributors.
