Creating a personal identity for the designer himself is always a tough job. In 2018 I’ve established my new studio. Situated in the lovely town of Leipzig in Germany I wanted to create an identity facelift for myself. My objective was to combine the industrial feeling of the studio surrounding, the Tapetenwerk, with some bold and minimalistic communicating elements. The graphical use of type is deployed like an illustration. In combination it is used for a strong facing and a minimalistic and also type based continuation. To underline the postmodern industrial feeling I used cardboard like papers from the GMUND color papers selection. The brand colors match the tones of the papers selection and are mixed in industrial grey tones like combined by itself. The logo, designed as a shield some years ago, aims to maintain and always stands for the strong attitude of a high-grade brand designer.
